Warehouse and Office Manager in Berlin (m/w/d)
We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our tight-knit team and take charge of managing our Berlin tea studio, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
The position can be combined with the office assistant role, as well as with tasks related to content creation, such as tea and teaware descriptions, and newsletter preparation.

- Contract type:
- Studio manager: Minijob or freelancer.
- In combination with other roles: Midijob or freelancer.
- Working time:
- Studio manager: ~15-25 hours/month.
- In combination with office assistant: up to additional 50 hours/month.
- In combination with content: up to additional 25 hours/month.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting unplanned yet regular issues promptly and effectively (see note below on troubleshooting).
- Managing inventory of our extensive collection of tea and teaware.
- Unpacking deliveries of tea and teaware, inspecting for damage, taking inventory, and placing them on shelves.
- Maintaining a clean and organized Studio.
- Updating our backend system (Shopify) as needed.
- Organizing product labeling.
- Managing office supplies and ensuring the studio is well-stocked.
- Coordination of work schedules and tasks with other team members via online tools (Google Sheets, Telegram).
- Note on Troubleshooting: This is the key task of the studio manager and requires both skill and a proactive attitude to resolve issues independently and promptly. Here are some examples:
- Tea packing machine malfunction: Contact the supplier and arrange for repairs or replacement.
- Unexpected delivery of large office equipment: Coordinate receiving and moving the equipment into the studio.
- Software issues on Mac, cloud storage capacity limits, file synchronization problems: Troubleshoot and resolve these technical issues directly.
- DHL not picking up parcels: Contact DHL to resolve the issue, schedule another pickup, or deliver the parcels to the post office.
Requirements:
The ideal applicant will have as many of the following skills as possible:
- A strong willingness to solve issues independently and promptly.
- Availability to be reachable by phone and IM apps is essential: when issues arise, you shall be reachable.
- A structured, well-organized, and efficient working style.

Fluency in English or German; both would be advantageous.
- Good communication skills and a team-player mindset.
- Readiness to adapt to changes and try new things.
- Proficiency with computers (mainly Mac), including knowledge of cloud storage (e.g., Dropbox, OneDrive).
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Basic understanding of HTML is helpful, not mandatory.
- Familiarity with online shop backends (e.g., Shopify) is an additional asset.
- A passion for fine tea and tea culture is much appreciated.
