Mansong 2021
Could these leaves be the Mansong tea rumoured to conjure up visions of Mount Yibang? The unassuming dark spindles interspersed with rosy buds, having been kept loose from pressings, infuses the water pure and sweet—of an unmatchable delicacy, yet with a plump body that sits gently on the throat. Rose water, cooked peaches, and vanilla comes to mind while enjoying the idle moments created by its lasting infusions, contributing laud and rune to the tribute of pu'er tea from a mountain quite well known to be.
