  • Drying: The shaped leaves are carefully dried to reduce moisture content, stabilize the flavor, and prepare them for fermentation.
  • Fermentation: The dried leaves undergo fermentation. Raw Pu'er is aged naturally over years, developing complex flavors, while Ripe Pu'er is fermented through a controlled piling process to accelerate aging and produce a rich, mellow flavor.
