Tuanshan Zhu Lin Ye Cha
A signature of its region, this tea is from a local cultivar growing in the forests that surround Tuan mountain in Anhui. Unlike other green teas of this kind, the appearance of this tea does not resemble the newly sprouting bamboo shoots of its origin; instead dark and spindly, the leaves infuse a pale brew, softly composed with notes of steamed spinach, cinnamon spice, and an unmistakable resemblance to sunflower oil.
